Systems of technical safety 

Many organizations are trying to restrict access to the premises of unauthorized persons, to monitor access to these premises, to record the passage facts and to monitor every stranger, visitor or visitor. The above actions would not be possible without a variety of technical means. In this case, the term "Technical Security Systems" becomes relevant because security is personal, informational, public, etc. 


The system of technical safety (STS) is a complex of technical means. This complex can include various devices: video surveillance system equipment, fire alarm system, automatic fire extinguishing and fire-fighting automation equipment, voice fire alarm system equipment, access control system equipment, burglar alarm systems, dispatching systems, electricity, ventilation, Heating, etc. If the building contains all of the above systems on the modern vocabulary, it is called "smart house". A typical complex STS should provide:

  1. Fault tolerance of the entire system as a whole and of individual nodes. Equipment that is used to protect people from natural Disasters, such as fire, should be reliable and have a long enough life, have high fault tolerance.
  2. Full control over the health of the system and its individual elements.

    This system should control the operability of its nodes and the entire system (without human intervention), issue a "fault" signal in case of failure or malfunction of any unit.

  3. Rapid detection of faults. The fault must be detected in a record time, so that in the event of a malfunction of an especially important node of the system, its prompt replacement is made.

  4. Full automation of work. The system should work completely autonomously, without human intervention. A person only has to control its proper functioning, detect failures in time and apply the actions to their elimination.

  5. Long-term archiving of events

  6. Full compliance with the specifications declared by the manufacturer.

Equipment STS has a rigid logic and its characteristics should not change due to the influence of any external factors, such as, for example, improper installation.
